Looks like Twitter is currently testing a whole bunch of creative and funky editing tools. However, these features have been only accessed by pop-stars such as Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams and Big Sean among other stars via Twitter at MTV’s VMA awards show.
Lara Cohen, Twitter’s Director of Entertainment Talent, highlighted the new photos with tweets that implied that the pop stars were ‘roadtesting’ something new, reports TechCrunch. As of now, no information has been provided whether these tools are a part of the Twitter app itself or will be introduced as a standalone app.
As of now, Twitter only allows users to use filters and crop images, but looks like the company might soon allow users to add doodles, text and much more to images and videos too.
However, it has been pointed out that Taylor Swift’s video tweets did not belong to any client in TweetDeck which implies the new flashy tool might be a new standalone app.
Wow. I seem to know more about that. Can you please update this article
