Tesla Motor is going to sale their cars
directly in texas. They are campaigning in taxes for loosing regulation after
that they can sale their luxury cars
As now tesla motor facing
problems to sale their cars direct to consumers due to auto dealers and local
laws.
Texas is like many states, and
have a unique set of rules and laws that exist to ensure that cars are not sold
through non-traditional channels. Meaning, anyone who wants to bypass the
dealership and purchase a Tesla vehicle will have to wait – at least temporarily
– until Tesla gets the ‘go ahead’ from officials in Texas.
Michigan, Arizona, Maryland,
New Jersey, and Texas all have banned the sales model that allows car
manufacturers to sell cars outright online. However, other states have
intervened in those types of situations and allowed for direct sales to become
a reality. While Tesla currently is operating “galleries” in three locations in
Texas – they can’t actually sell vehicles from those galleries – so a change in
legislation for Tesla to sell their cars in Texas is a must
Tesla believes that there is
too much allegiance to traditional fuel powered vehicles as well as the
old brands that manufactures these vehicles, hence it doesn't want to sell
through dealerships. Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the company
doesn’t want to completely eliminate the dealer model of selling vehicles, it
just wants to have an option of direct sales channels.
Robert Brazie, a lobbyist for
the Texas Automobile Dealers Association (TADA), said that the new direct
automobile sales bills will be filed in Texas before the end of the 2015
legislative Assembly session. As of now, there is a very little support for the
bills that promotes direct sales of cars in Texas.
while its showrooms in three
major cities in Texas (Austin, Dallas and Houston) can’t sell the vehicles due
to the local law. People can only visit the showroom, ask questions and get
answers, that’s it. If you want to buy a latest Tesla Model S or test drive one
in a Texas showroom, you should have to wait for some time, maybe never.
